Condolence: Greg and I had many laughs at University of Cincinnati where he studied at the Conservatory of Music, and I was a grad student in Lit. He enjoyed how I used different voices and accents when I'd read him Kesey's One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest or Shakespeare's King Lear.
I enjoyed his quick wit and ability to rhyme anything. After he played at The Pickle Barrel in Cincinnati, I asked him if they paid him. "Only in food," he said. "Well then," I said, "You can eat lasagna till---" "---it comes up on ya," he finished. Not only was I lucky enough to visit the Braytons in Coldwater (Greg bragged about his dad's "Lee Brayton burgers"), he performed on Canada Island at the Spokane World's Fair in 1974. No one who knew Greg could ever forget his great spirit or the songs that came from his creativity. He was always able to see greatness in others and loved his family as much as anyone ever has. I wrote this today because I was listening to Bob Dylan and Wishing I could give Greg a Nobel Prize.

Condolence: Once again, I wish you God's peace as has been my prayer for you since Greg's passing. Greg made an impact on this community and I am sure will never be forgotten. May God's peace surround you for the rest of the days of your lives, so you no longer have to shed tears but; can smile and laugh when you think about your beloved Greg.

Condolence: So very sorry for the family/loved ones of Greg Brayton. Feel like we've all lost a legend. What a legacy this brave, talented, young man has left to all who are missing him so much.
