Gloria J. Schultz, 58, of Coldwater, passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Select Specialty Hospital in Battle Creek.
A service for Gloria will be held on Friday, April 6, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor Harold Jewell from the Oasis of Love Church officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday prior to the service beginning at 12:00 Noon.
Gloria was born October 1, 1953 in Coldwater to Zell F. and Betty Lou (Pervis ) McVicker. She married Gerald C. Schultz on February 20, 1970 in Coldwater.
Mrs. Schultz had been a resident of Branch County her entire life and had attended World Harvest Assembly of God Church through the years. She enjoyed being a homemaker but had worked at the Sauk River Athletic Club for ten years through the 1990’s. Gloria’s family meant the world to her, her sister Joyce was her best friend, her children and grandchildren kept her busy and were the center of her life.
Gloria is survived by her husband Jerry, children Jerry (Nichol) Schultz, Heather Peet and Daniel (Nichole)Schultz all of Coldwater, brothers Zell McVicker, Jr. and Michael (Phyllis) McVicker both of Quincy, her mother Betty McVicker of Quincy, her sisters Ruthann Stollings and Louise Hall both of Quincy, Joyce (Jack) Mueller of Coldwater, grandchildren, Ryan, Jerry III, Britney, Sara, Ethan and Keegan.
She was preceded in death by her father.
