It is hard to imagine that such an amazing light has passed from our lives. I have known Mary all my life, even at 50, she still called me Jerry D. She and my mom were nearly inseparable when I was younger. The things I remember most about Mary were summers full of barbeques, mac salad, iced tea, swimming parties, the kids everywhere and the ever present laughter. I was blessed to hear that laughter a few days before she passed. I was on the phone with my Dad as he and my mom were visiting Mary. She and mom were talking about, God knows what and laughing so hard, it was infectious. Her kind heart, positive attitude and love of life, family and friends was her hallmark.
