The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Emma "Lamoine" Hand can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Liniah Hand-Saleem

My Great Aunt Lamoine was a special lady. I remember A. Lamoine picking me up in her car and taking me to church every Sunday and Wednesday night “Seekers” at the Baptist Church. She didn’t have to do it, but wanted to do it. She planted a seed in my heart for the love of Christ. Which I will hold dearly. I also remember her visiting her brother in law & sister in law (my grandpa & grandma Hand) often. One time I walked thru the front door of Hand’Garbage Service and A. Lamoine was sitting next to my grandpa holding his hand while he sat in his big comfy chair & she was sharing the gospel with him when he was battling Cancer. It’s a memory I have etched in my mind & I will cherish all of my life. A. Lamoine didn’t just share the gospel with the young but also the old. She was a servant of the Lord. She will be missed! Love Liniah Hand-Saleem & family
