The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Emma "Lamoine" Hand can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Mrs. Hand was a true loving Christian woman who lived her faith. She was always a role model to us as young girls at the church. I always enjoyed time I spent at their home while Joyce and I were in school. May your memories sustain you.

Condolence: My Great Aunt Lamoine was a special lady.
I remember A. Lamoine picking me up in her car and taking me to church every Sunday and Wednesday night “Seekers” at the Baptist Church. She didn’t have to do it, but wanted to do it. She planted a seed in my heart for the love of Christ. Which I will hold dearly.
I also remember her visiting her brother in law & sister in law (my grandpa & grandma Hand) often. One time I walked thru the front door of Hand’Garbage Service and A. Lamoine was sitting next to my grandpa holding his hand while he sat in his big comfy chair & she was sharing the gospel with him when he was battling Cancer. It’s a memory I have etched in my mind & I will cherish all of my life. A. Lamoine didn’t just share the gospel with the young but also the old. She was a servant of the Lord.
She will be missed!
Love
Liniah Hand-Saleem & family
