Condolences

Condolence From: Nancy Becher
Condolence: Since I was gone for many years, it's only recently that I got to know this part of my family. I have enjoyed nothing more over the past few years than to get together at Kathy's house for the holidays and talking with Junior who sat proudly at the head of the table. We would joke, I heard stories, and got to break bread. I will miss these times with him but will remember them always.

Condolence From: Shelly Crandall
Condolence: Uncle Jr and Uncle John would always tease us girls (Jeannie, Vicki, Tam, and me) mercilessly. We all had a nickname too. I remember all of us going to the St. Joseph Co. fair every year on a Saturday. Uncle Jr would walk around after the trotter races with us all to go through the barns, he didn't let his handicap stop him. We would all walk a little slower with him though. I remember mom, Uncle John, and Aunt Kathy (grandma too) would tell stories about all the antics they used to do as kids and Uncle Jr was right in the middle of it all, nothing held him back. He seemed rough and grumpy, but he was soft insideand would let it come out occasionally. He will leave a hole in all of our lives. Loved him...
