Bob was at once the inspirational leader a source of belief that helped others to see and do what was difficult and yet he was the "easy to talk to guy" folks knew and appreciated. Bob recognized the worth in all and their importance to the task at hand. Bob Welke was more than the ADD for Highways he was my friend, he was a model to follow and most important he was a man I trusted to live his values.
