I was saddened to hear of Wes's passing. I was fortunate in knowing him during the 8 months that I served with the Marine Embassy Guards in Tehran Iran. I remember him as being an upbeat friendly person. Through another ex-Marine friend I learned of his battle with many medical problems and I had heard he was improving and able to spend more time at home.
