Gladys Thelma Taylor

Gladys Thelma Taylor 95 of Coldwater, passed away on Saturday June 27, 2015 at the Community
Health Center of Branch Co.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday July 1, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery Girard Township with Dr. George Fry officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday July 1 2015 9:00 a.m. until time of graveside services.

Gladys was born March 1, 1920 in Sherwood Township to Donald Earnest and Bernice Amelia Marie (Thrams) Parks. She married Cassius Roy Taylor December 23, 1939 in Marshall, MI; he preceded in death March 9, 1952.

Gladys enjoyed crocheting, embroidering, working in the garden, traveling, and watching TV. She also loved to sew making aprons, pot holders and other crafty items. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with family and grandchildren.

Gladys is survived by daughters Joyce (Mike) Dayton of Coldwater, MI and Janet (David) Wilson of TX, sister Margaret Valkanet of Grand Rapids MI, 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents, husband, her brother, Richard Parks and her sister, Juanita McLaughlin.
