Mom, Not a day goes by that I don't think about you and Dad. I know the years after he passed were very hard for you because you missed him so. I know your faith in the Lord promised you a forever place with him in Heaven and now you are reunited. Finding cards, letters, knitting patterns, and things you made for me and your grandson are treasured and I will be forever happy you had the patience to teach me how to knit when I was very young. Now I remember that each time I pick up my needles! But most of all I want to thank you for loving me and your grandson Michael Gray Kobreek. He didn't understand when he was young why I chose my maiden name for his middle one, but now he does and is happy and proud to carry it on. Michael also cherishes that you were able to tell him goodbye before you left us to be with his grandpa. I know our parents won' t be with us forever but facing that time was harder than I imagined.
