I am so sorry to hear of Sam's passing. He and Rosemary were such a welcoming presence to my family when we moved to Coldwater in 1996. I remember Rosemary calling me to ask Michael and I to go to the movies with them when the theatre was still downtown. We went to see Saving Private Ryan and Sam shared some special memories of his time on D-Day with us. We were honored he was so open with us. Both he and Rosemary were a special support when my husband died suddenly and were a spiritual support to me. Rosemary's passing was the first after my husband's passing I was able to attend.....Sam and Rosemary hold a special place in my heart.
