Victor Dean Howell, 83, of Coldwater, passed away on Friday, October 22, 2010 at the Laurels of Coldwater.





A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor David Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Coldwater. Visitation will be held from 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Monday, October 25, 2010 also at the funeral home.





Victor was born on October 15, 1927 to Ross and Bethal (Lords) Howell in Cambria, Michigan. He married Mary Myers on May 9, 1952, she preceded in death on April 26, 1991. He later married Jane McCarty on October 14, 1994 in Angola, IN.





Mr. Howell lived in Coldwater most of his life. He had worked for Metal Powder Components, formerly R.B. & W., for 27 years, retiring in 1992. He also worked at Bronson Plating and on a family farm when he was younger. Victor loved animals and his family, especially his grandchildren.





Victor is survived by his wife Jane Howell, sons; Timothy Howell of Coldwater and Paul F. Howell of Bronson, Dan (Celia) McCarty, Randy (Lori) McCarty, daughter Vicky (Russ) Streeter of Coldwater, sister Beverly DeKam of Coldwater, half-sister Kathy Tucker of Quincy, 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
