Obituary for Tobin Rees

Tobin  Rees
Tobin L. Rees, 37, of Bronson, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at his home.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, April 5, 2013 at St. Mary of Assumption Church in Bronson with Rev. Fr. Richard Fritz officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Bronson. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2013 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Dutcher-Kolcz Funeral Home in Bronson, with the Rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M., also at the funeral home.
Tobin was born on August 30, 1975 in Sturgis, Michigan to John and Sue (Stewart) Rees. He grew up in Bronson and graduated from Bronson High School in 1993. He married Holly A. Washburn on July 15, 2000 in Bronson. Tobin had been a member of St. Mary of Assumption Church for many years and worked as an industrial pipefitter for the Local 333 in Battle Creek for 17 years. He enjoyed playing golf, bowling and watching NASCAR and bowling on television.
Mr. Rees is survived by his wife Holly, his children Annie (Bryant) Byler of Elkhart, IN, Caleb McGuire and Avery Rees, both of Bronson, his father John Rees of KY, his mother Sue (Dave) Ellison of Bronson, his brother Eric (Stacey) Ellison of Schoolcraft and his grandmothers Louise Williams of Angola, IN and Geraldine Olney of Jackson.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the St. Mary’s Catholic School.
