Roger J.  Sikorski
Roger J. Sikorski, 73, of Bronson, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2016 surrounded by his family at the Community Health Center of Branch County.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, March 21, 2016 at St. Mary of Assumption Church in Bronson with Rev. Fr. Richard Fritz officiating. Visitation will take place on Sunday, March 20, 2016 from 4:00- 8:00 PM at Dutcher-Kolcz Funeral Home in Bronson with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 PM.
Roger was born July 14, 1942 to James and Regina (Baker) Sikorski in Bronson. After attending school, he went to work on the family farm. Roger married Shirley Losinski on August 20, 1966 at St. Mary of Assumption Church in Bronson. Roger went on to become a skilled self- employed carpenter in the Bronson area, retiring in 2008.
He was a life long member of St. Mary of Assumption Church, and the United Commercial Travelers for 50 years. He enjoyed NASCAR, watching the Detroit Tigers, biking, walking and his daily coffee with friends at McDonald’s in Bronson. Roger was voted the Bronson Polish Festival King in 2014.
Roger is survived by his wife Shirley of Bronson; his children, Kerry (Fiance-Ana Richards) Sikorski of Bronson and Kendra (Brian) Washburn of Bronson; his grandchildren, Kaysee Washburn, Brooke Washburn and Samantha Urena. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Floyd Sikorski and his nephew, Dwayne Sikorski.
Memorials may be directed to Branch County 4-H Foundation in care of Bronson Pioneers 4-H Club.
