Obituary for Robert P. Russell

Robert P. Russell, 53, of Greenwood, IN, formerly of Bronson, passed away on Monday, June 4, 2012 in Coldwater.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the First Congregational Church in Bronson with Pastor Terry Siler officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Coldwater. Visitation will be Friday, June 8, 2012 from 4 – 8:00 PM at Dutcher-Kolcz Funeral Home in Bronson.
Robert was born November 16, 1958 in Coldwater to Rex & Louise (Maringer) Russell. He married Natalie(Ozment)on June 19, 2001 in Tennessee.
Bob has owned and operated Integrity Wholesale Awnings in Indianapolis since 2006. He had formerly worked for Awning Innovations in Indianapolis, Illuminated Image in Angola and Kilgore International in Coldwater. Bob had a great love of music and was a very talented musician. He had formerly been a member of the First Congregational Church in Bronson and later a member of the First Baptist Church in Coldwater. He used his musical gift as part of the First Baptist Praise Team and served as their choir director. Bob was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, playing softball and tennis and also bowling on a league. He enjoyed video games and loved to spoil his dogs.
Robert is survived by his wife Natalie, his son Josh Russell of Union City, his daughters Jennifer (Ryan) Nagel of Union City, Mellissa Russell of Coldwater,his mother Louise Russell of Coldwater, step-daughter Sara Reed of Greenwood, IN, his sister Sue Ann (Dennis) Morris of Coldwater, his grandchildren Isaiah, Shakia, Logan, Xarek, Canaan, Jezelle, Eli and Ayla, his nephew Jason Shoemaker and great niece Ellysa Shoemaker both of Coldwater. He was preceded in death by his father Rex.
Memorials may be directed to Bronson Community Schools for the Robert Russell Music Memorial.
