The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 10, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor Harold Jewell officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2010 from 6 – 8:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home.

Robert was born November 12, 1942 in Detroit to Joseph and Prexie ( Laseck ) Rock. He married Carole Ann Hurtubise on April 25, 1964 in Detroit. He lived in the Sterling Heights area for many years before moving to Coldwater where he has spent the past 12 years. Bob worked at Borg Warner as a production manager for over 30 years, retiring in 2004. Mr. Rock was an avid Red Wings fan who enjoyed boating and fishing and enjoyed giving back as a volunteer for the Community Health Center. His passion for the game of golf was what he loved the most.

He is survived by his wife Carole, his son Robert (Karrie) Rock of Union City, his daughter Melissa (Roy) Cornell of Jacksonville, NC, his brother Richard Rock of Warren, his sisters Connie (Robert ) Kennedy of North Port, FL, Laura (David) Miros of Troy, and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Thomas Rock.
