Phyllis Ann Scott, 80, of Coldwater, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2015 surrounded by her family at home.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 4, 2015 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor Jeff Bream officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Coldwater. Visitation will take place on Thursday, September 3, 2015 from 4:00- 8:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Phyllis was born October 14, 1934 to Phillip and Clarice (Stafford) O’Brien in Brooklyn, New York. Her marriage to William “Bill” Scott ended in divorce.
Phyllis was an accountant for Nichol’s Accounting in Coldwater and then she was the payroll master at Hacienda Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada and she returned to Coldwater to work as an accountant for Max Larsen Ford.
She enjoyed bingo, playing cards, listening to music and dancing.
Phyllis is survived by her children Duane (Donna) Scott of Quincy, Rhonda (Michael) Barnwell of Coldwater, Todd (Rhonda Chamberlin)Scott of Union City and Rod (Sherry Roddy) Scott of Coldwater; her grandchildren Justin Scott, Ashley Morgan, Trevor Scott, Brianna Reade and Kerstin Scott; her sister June (Morris) Scott of St. Charles, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents.
