Obituary for Peggy J. Strozewski

Peggy J. Strozewski, 77, of Quincy, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2010 at the Community Health Center of Branch County.





A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Quincy. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. also on Tuesday at the funeral home.





Peggy was born on December 13, 1932 in Campbell, Missouri to John and Pansy (Lindsay) Chase. Her family moved to Michigan when she was in junior high where she went on to graduate from Ann Arbor High School, class of 1951. She married Richard S. Strozewski on August 1, 1953 in South Bend, IN. They lived in Berrien Springs for over thirty years and had a summer home in Quincy. In 1992 they moved permanently to Quincy. She finished raising her children there and enjoyed being her son’s chauffer during golf season. Peggy was primarily a homemaker, but did dabble in real estate through the years.





Mrs. Strozewski is survived by her husband, Richard, sons, Richard (Sara) Strozewski of Chesterfield, Allen Strozewski of Lansing and David (Sheri) Strozewski of FL, daughters, Joan (William) Matejovsky of Reading, Janet (Chad) Musselmen of Coldwater, Jane (Paul) Moyer of Niles, Jean (Glen) Warnke of Lansing, sister Myra (Don) Scolsey of FL, sister-in-law Jean and the late Joe Kucharski of South Bend, IN, 19 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both of her parents.
