Lindsey M. Rockwell, 21, of Jackson, formerly of Coldwater, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at the Community Health Center of Branch County.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 7, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church in Coldwater with Pastor David Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, January 6, 2013 from 2-4 & 5-7:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Lindsey was born April 1, 1991 in Marshall, MI to Eric & Lisa (Pifer) Rockwell. She graduated from Coldwater High School in 2009 and had attended Western MI University and KCC. Lindsey had previously worked at the Coldwater Dairy Queen and most recently at the Meijer store in Jackson.
Lindsey had played on the basketball and softball teams in high school and had also been active in the Equestrian Team. She was very involved in 4H and had helped coach middle school volleyball and Little League softball. Lindsey enjoyed photography and listening to music but most of all she treasured the time she spent with her family.
Lindsey is survived by her parents Eric & Lisa Rockwell of Coldwater, her fiancée Franklin Harper of Jackson, her sisters Erika (Tyler Philley) Rockwell, Alexandra Rockwell all of Coldwater, her uncles Tod (Michell) Pifer of Coldwater, Todd (Diane) Rockwell of Bluffton, IN, her grandfather Joseph Rockwell of Bluffton, IN, her cousins Cole Pifer, Chaz(MB Cameron) Brand, Shanel (Travis) Rodesiler, all of Coldwater, Drew Rockwell, Ella Rockwell and Derek Rockwell all of Bluffton, IN. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Bill & Vicky Pifer and grandmother Peggy Rockwell.
Memorials may be directed to the family for a future scholarship in Lindsey’s memory.
