JoAn Anita Smith,74, of Coldwater, died Thursday, September 9, 2010 at Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Play Room Banquet Hall, 869 E. Chicago Rd., Quincy, MI.

JoAn was born November 21,1935 in Pontiac, MI to Lyle & Ada (Drinkwine) Hubel.


She married Ron Smith on April 25, 1964 in Pontiac.


JoAn was a longtime resident of the Branch County area. She loved playing Bingo and cards and enjoyed arts and crafts including jewelry making and crocheting.

JoAn is survived by her daughter Diana (Jeremy) Dutra of Union City, her grandchildren Krissy Todd, Scotty Todd & fiancée Taylor, Ronny Todd & Wendy all of Coldwater and her two great grandchildren Jaidyn and Briana of Coldwater.
She was preceded in death by both parents.


Memorials may be directed to the CHC Cancer Center, arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.
