Jean L. Milliman
Jean L. Milliman, 82, of Bronson, passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Thurston Woods Village in Sturgis.
The funeral will be 11:00 AM, Monday, January 4, 2016 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Burr Oak with Pastor Kurt Kuhlmann officiating. Interment will follow at Adams Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2016 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at Dutcher-Kolcz Funeral Home in Bronson.
Jean was born August 2, 1933 in Sturgis, MI to Norris & Ella (Ely) Hollister. She married Clyde L. Milliman on August 11, 1951 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Burr Oak, he preceded her in death in July 2008.
Mrs. Milliman was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker. She was an active member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and enjoyed cooking, baking, writing, reading, playing cards, watching mystery movies, bird watching, camping and spending time with her family and friends.
Jean is survived by her children Wendy (Daniel) Lindsay of Bronson, Steve (Shar) Milliman of Bay City, Tom (Wynette) Milliman of Coldwater, Mark Milliman of Bronson and Brent (Kim) Milliman of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; her sister Janet Bricker of Howe, Indiana; 19 grandchildren and 44 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister Joanne Herman.
