Grace L. Morsch, 93, of Coldwater, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at the Community Health Center of Branch County.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Rev. Thomas Hamilton officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Coldwater. Visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, Saturday prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
Grace was born on July 12, 1922 to William and May (Manning) Thorsen in Mendota, Illinois. She married William “Bill” A. Morsch on December 4, 1946 in Illinois and he preceded her in death on July, 3, 2015.
Grace was a member of Riverside Baptist Church in Homer. Grace enjoyed playing the piano and singing at many of the local nursing homes. She also enjoyed helping her husband Bill with the Forgotten Man Ministries. Grace loved taking care of her family as a mother and homemaker.
She is survived by her daughters; Judy (George) Huffman of Canton, Ohio, Joanne (Grover) Wilson of Elyria, Ohio, Marcella Nickles of Coldwater, Bonnie (Cliff) Saddler of Coldwater and Rose Ann Morsch of Coldwater; her 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Grace was preceded in death by her sister; Margaret Hanson; her brothers, Walt, John and Hank Thorsen.
