Florence Ann Wolfinger, 90, of Coldwater passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at the Laurels of Coldwater, prior to going to the Laurels she was taken care of by her son Dale.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Coldwater.
Florence was born February 23, 1925 to William E. and Florence B. (Crippen) Miner in Coldwater. She married Russell F. Wolfinger on February 25, 1943 in Rockford, Illinois.
She enjoyed being a homemaker as well as gardening, flowers and cooking. She always made sure family and friends had something to eat. Florence especially loved her grandchildren. Florence will be remembered by her family as being a very independent person.
She is survived by her children; Russell K. Wolfinger of Colon, Don (Charlotte) Wolfinger of Coldwater, Dale Wolfinger of Coldwater, Steve (Barb) Wolfinger of Coldwater and Leon (Connie) Wolfinger of Coldwater; her daughter in law Martha Wolfinger of Burr Oak; 20 grandchildren; she also leaves several great and great great grandchildren with a great great grandson born to Kayla Vrooman on the same day of Florence’s passing. Florence was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son Michael, her 5 sisters, her 1 brother and her grandson Jody Wolfinger.
