Esther D. Danielson, 91, of Coldwater, formerly of Royal Oak, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2012 at The Laurels of Coldwater.


A graveside service for Esther will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at 12 Noon at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, MI.


Esther was born June 19, 1920 in New York, NY to Steven & Bessie (Farrell) Patnode. She married Arthur Danielson on July 12, 1939 , he preceded her on June 10, 1978. She then married Dave Turo on January 8, 1983, he also preceded her in death on Feb. 16, 1983.


Mrs. Danielson spent most of her life in Royal Oak, coming to Coldwater in 1997. She had been a wife, mother and homemaker and had also worked as a dental technician for about 10 years. Esther had been a member of Shrine of the Little Flower Catholic Church in Royal Oak where she had sung in the choir for many years. She enjoyed gardening and was a very accomplished seamstress, making the most beautiful porcelain dolls.


Esther is survived by her sons Richard & Carole Danielson of Union City, Robert & Janice Danielson of Sylvan Lake, her daughter Rima Britt of Dubuque, Iowa, 5 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. In addition to her husbands, she was also preceded in death by her grandson Scott Michael Danielson, her brother Ralph Patnode and her sister Evelyn Teasdale.
