Ellen M. Moran, 95, of Angola, IN, formerly of Bellaire, MI, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at Cameron Hospital in Angola.


No services will be held at this time, interment of ashes will be at Ottawa Hills Cemetery in Clarkston, MI. Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.


Ellen was born August 7, 1916 in St. Charles, MI to Harry & Jessie (Lytle) Bradley. She married Wilbert T. Hiscock in 1938, he preceded her in death in 1972. She then married William Moran in 1976, he also preceded her in death in 1993.


Mrs. (Hiscock) Moran had worked for 28 years at the First Federal Savings and Loan in Pontiac, MI , retiring as Senior Vice President in 1977. After her retirement she spent the winter months in Arizona and the summers in Bel Aire, MI, where she was a member of the Church of the Hills. Ellen came to this area 7 years ago to be closer to her family, residing at Cameron Woods in Angola where she also attended Ye Olde York Church. She enjoyed life and was an avid golfer and shopper.


Ellen is survived by her son James (Kaye) Hiscock of Coldwater, her grandchildren Sara (Donald) Bigley of Cherry Hill, NJ, Amy Hiscock of Coldwater, Craig (Julie) Hiscock of McKinney, TX, Karen (Chuck) Cuzydlo of Williamston, her great grandchildren Connor, Kyle, Amber, Richard and Brooke.
