Cynthia M. Smith, 63 of Coldwater, died Monday, September 6, 2010 at The Community Health Center of Branch County.



A service will be held on Friday, September 10, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor Shayne Looper of the Lockwood Community Church officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Coldwater.
Visitation will be held Thursday, September 9, 2010 from 4 - 8:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.



Cynthia was born November 1, 1946 in Trenton, Michigan to Richard and Alice (Kelly) Jackson.



She married Donald Smith on October 7, 1988 in Mesa, Arizona. He preceded her in death on March 3, 2008.



Cindy worked for Americraft Carton in Sturgis for the past 11 years. She was a member of the Coldwater Eagles and enjoyed cooking, traveling and going to the casino. Cindy’s family was very important to her and she treasured the time they spent together, especially with her grandchildren.



Cindy is survived by her children Joe (Lisa Fullbright) Hughes of Coldwater, Dawn (Keith) Craven of Union City, Rae Peet (Scott Todd) of Mississippi, Tobi (Beth) Smith of Florida, Tami (Walter) Busby of Coldwater, Richard Smith (Laura Bennett) of Hillsdale, Chris Smith of Sturgis, her brother R. D. Jackson of Sherwood, her sisters Maxine Somers & Shirley Kornalikus both of Ypsilanti, her stepmother Rhue Hunsicker of Coldwater and many grand and great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents.
