Alice J. Hennig, 76, of Coldwater, passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2012 at the Community Health Center of Branch Co.


No services will be held at this time, cremation has taken place. Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.


Alice was born December 3, 1935 in Coldwater, MI to William & Melvina (Pierce) Wilson. She married Richard C. Hennig on November 24, 1954.


Mrs. Hennig was a co-owner of Frank Castleman Plumbing and Heating in Sturgis for 28 years, retiring in 1981. For the past 7 years, she has worked at Big Lots in Coldwater.


Alice enjoyed reading and going to the casino, playing bingo and scratch off lottery tickets.
Alice is survived by her daughter Jackie Hennig of Portage, her former husband Dick Hennig of Union City, her sisters Diana


(Don) Gragg of Sturgis, Goldie Brewer of Marion, OH, her best friend Muriel Noya-Alvarado of Coldwater and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers David Savchuk, Charles Savchuk and her sister Adah Lukazcek.
