John B. “Jack” Dorr, 78, of Coldwater, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 in Battle Creek.
The family will celebrate Jack’s life in their own way. Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Jack was born June 3, 1936 in Detroit, MI to Francis & Natalie (Evon) Dorr. He served in the US Army and graduated from Eastern Michigan University. Jack married Mary Jane Plemmons on October 18, 1988 in Fremont, IN.
Mr. Dorr, along with his wife, owned and operated the Lamplighter in Coldwater for 20 years.
Jack is survived by his wife Mary Jane, his children Denise (Eric) Miller of Martinez, CA, Chris (Rita) Dorr of Canton, GA, Lisa (Kirk) Sinclair of Ceresco, Susan (Ron) Johnson of Union City and 11 grandchildren.
