To Mary's family: I do love the photo of her laughing; she had a hearty laugh. It was my pleasure to visit with her. Once she moved in to Masonville my trips to town included time with Mary. Selfishly I wanted to hear about her years on River Rd. (we attended the same one room school house and lived in the same farm house). It comforted me to be with her, the last living member of my first decade. It was good to remember those times. I loved "puzzling" with her, meeting her friends around the table at bingo and in the dining room. I can assure you she was well liked. We went on walks and enjoyed the sky, trees and children at play. Like my Dad, she was humble and held a strong faith. She loved all of you and talked of you often. Now that she is free of her worn out body, I can only be happy for her. Praise be to our loving God who welcomed her home.
