Jane E. Bonfiglio, 74, of Quincy, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.
A memorial mass will be held on Monday, May 16, 2016 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary of Assumption Church in Bronson with Rev. Fr. Richard Fritz officiating. Private interment of ashes will take place at Mason Cemetery. The family will receive friends, prior to the service, beginning at 9:30 AM at St. Mary’s. Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Jane was born March 1, 1942 in Coldwater, MI to Damon & Charlotte (Dickey) Burlew. She married David R. Bonfiglio on June 29, 1963 in Coldwater.
Mrs. Bonfiglio graduated from the beauty academy in Battle Creek, receiving her cosmetology certification. She worked in the business offices of the Community Health Center of Branch County for 29 years, retiring in 2005. Upon retiring, Jane obtained her realtor license and was currently working for Diehl Realty.
Jane attended both St. Charles and St. Mary’s Churches. She had a great love of animals and actively volunteered for the Branch Co. Humane Society. Jane enjoyed working in her yard and flower gardening.
Jane is survived by her husband Dave, her nieces and nephews Tanis (Rodney) Carpenter, Timothy (Shelby) Arey all of Quincy and Tonia (Ken) Taylor of Coldwater. She was preceded in death by her sisters and brother–in-law Joan Burlew, Janet (Norman) Arey.
