Obituary for Ethel L. Ferguson

Ethel L.  Ferguson
Ethel Louise Ferguson, 96, of Coldwater passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016 at Maple Lawn while surrounded by family.
A funeral service will take place at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor Bob Ward of First Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the funeral beginning at 11:00 AM.
Ethel was born July 26, 1919 to William and Olive (Bassett) Marowelli in Pittsford. On December 5, 1936 she married the love of her life, Robert Ferguson. He preceded her in death on July 5, 1992. Ethel was a stay at home mother, raised her 9 children before joining the workforce. Once the children were old enough, she worked for many years at Doerr Products in Burr Oak before retiring.
Ethel enjoyed reading and playing cards with family & friends. Her true joy in life was her family, especially all her grandchildren. Ethel will be remembered as always having a smile and being a gentle and kind person. She will be missed by many.
Mrs. Ferguson is survived by her children Connie Smith of Arizona City, AZ, Larry Ferguson of Coldwater, Kenneth Ferguson of Leonidas, Penny (Dan) Bachman of Mt. Morris, and Douglas (Brenda) Ferguson of Bronson; her son-in-law Elmer Zebolsky of Coldwater; 18 grandchildren; several great and great, great grandchildren; many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert; her daughters Nancy Zebolsky, Pamela Emerick, and Candy Tice; her son William Ferguson; several brothers and sisters.
