Obituary for Rex D. Clark, Jr.

Rex D. Clark, Jr., 60, of Coldwater, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at his home.
The funeral service will be Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor David Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at California Corners Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 29, 2015 from 4-8:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home.
Rex was born July 17, 1955 in Coldwater, MI to Rex D. & Folsom “Po” (Spaulding) Clark, Sr. He graduated from Coldwater High School and had worked for Quality Springs and Acorn. Mr. Clark moved to Florida, where he spent over 20 years working for Pasco County Water and Sewer. After his retirement, he came back to Coldwater where he was a member of the Moose Lodge and the Jaycees, serving as former president and earning Jaycee of the Year. Rex enjoyed playing softball and the Tuesday Night Men’s Pool League. He was a NASCAR fan and an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, spending time up north, playing horseshoes and refinishing furniture.
Rex is survived by his children Kristen Lausberg, Kathleen Santos, Kelli Clark all of Newport Richie, FL, his siblings Pat Lewis, Larry (Linda) Clark, Tina (Tom) Waller, Denis (Kerry) Clark all of Coldwater, Gerry Sanland of Battle Creek, Rexine (Steve) Labadie of Paw Paw, Bill (Rita) Clark of North Port, FL, his grandchildren Mathew Tormey, Kristopher & Joseph Collins, Adryanna Santos, Airabella Dellaporte, James White, Kyliegh Clark, Makenzie Lausberg, special friend Iva, adopted grandfather John Lewis, Sr. of Coldwater, former wife Laurie Knapp of Newport Richie, FL and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law John Lewis.
