Obituary for Ryan M. McBride

Ryan M.  McBride
Ryan M. McBride, 33, of Coldwater, passed away at his home on Wednesday, May 13, 2015.

A funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor David Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, May 18, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.

Ryan was born February 21, 1982 to Garry and Sandra (Sussex) McBride in Coldwater. He grew up in Zionsville, IN, returning to Coldwater in 1996. After finishing high school, Ryan worked for Valley Farms as a delivery driver and then as an auto fabricator building handicapped accessible vans at Freedom Motors in Battle Creek.

Ryan had a magnetic personality and was full of life. As a child, he excelled at sports, especially swimming. He broke several swimming records in the State of Indiana and was considered for the Olympics. Ryan was an avid sports fan, following the Detroit Tigers, Red Wings and the Indianapolis Colts and Peyton Manning. He was such a fan in fact, he named his daughter after him. He had many interests, but lately he enjoyed Harley Davidsons. His true passion in life was his children. He will be remembered as a great father, brother, and son.

Mr. McBride is survived by his children Kaylee, Payton, Drake, and Mya McBride all of Coldwater; his parents Garry McBride of Coldwater and Sandy McBride of Coldwater; his sister Jenny (Ben) McDaniel; his brother Brent (Amber Sells) McBride all of Coldwater; his companion Lynn Taylor of Quincy; his grandmother Ruth McBride of Coldwater; his niece Addison McDaniel and nephew Parker McBride. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Jerry McBride, Charles & Shirley Sussex; great grandparents Leland & Lucille Sanford.
