Just a simple story...

Terri, knows that I (her aunt) do not do anything for chirstmas, which was one of Rollies favorite holidays.  Well, actually it was his favorite!  So one christmas, as he was sitting in walmart in his santa suit (I think that is the one I actually sewed years ago isnt it?) anyway, I was in the check out line and he was sitting at the front of the store where I could see him.  We looked at each other and no words were said, but it was one of those moments that the eye contact said it all!

It was as if he was saying: 'no Ireena, dont you say anything'...and I was saying, 'are you daring me?'   I just smiled as I continued my check out, and he looked at me like -'oh please be quiet...' I looked at him and smiled, and he tilted his head and looked back...I know he was hoping I would not say what he probally thought I was going to say which was something like..."hello Rollie".

I walked up to him after finishing my purchse, and just stopped...smiled and walked away.  I felt his tension leave, and almost heard his thoughts-"she didnt say it.."
