Grace Joan Mason, 74, of Coldwater, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at her home.
Per Joan’s wishes there will be no services as cremation has taken place. Burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery in Coldwater.
Joan was born June 6, 1940 to Henry M. and Opal (Ellenberger) Price in Cassopolis, Michigan. She graduated from Ft. Wayne Central High School in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. She married Blaine “Junior” Mason in 1978 and he preceded her in death in 1996.
She worked for Acorn Manufacturing in Quincy for over 20 years as a laborer.
Joan was a member of the Coldwater United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, helping and encouraging others and spending time with family, friends and neighbors. She was a kind and loving soul to all people and animals. To know her was to love her. She loved her faithful fur baby dog Roxy that she rescued 5 years ago.
She is survived by her brother Henry J. (Jeri) Price of Indianapolis, Indiana. Also surviving are special friends and caregivers, Linda (Gary) Olbeter of Coldwater, Laura Laurie of Coldwater and many other friends and neighbors. She was preceded in death by her parents and infant daughter Billi Jo.
