Dottie and Nick Nimchuk

I have many happy memories of growing up in the same house as Emma. We became especially close during high school. We were both part of the high school Usher Club and were privileged to see many great performances at W K Kellogg Auditorium in Battle Creek. When she was in college, we wrote letters back and forth in shorthand which made for good practice. At one time she drove a sporty 1947 Mercury convertible, and the two of us would travel to monthly meetings of the church all around the State of Michigan. That car was subject to vapor lock on a hot day, and we spent many an hour alongside the road waiting for the motor to cool so we could continue. We managed to keep in touch over the years though separated by many miles, and I always enjoyed time spent with her and the family. I admire her steadfast faith in God for salvation through His Son Jesus Christ. She will be greatly missed, but we look forward to meeting her again on Resurrection Day, enjoying the pleasure of eternity with the Lord. Love to all the family.
