Ralph Clifford, 70, of Bronson, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Hillsdale Medical Care Facility.
The funeral service will be Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor Dave Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Coldwater. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 25, 2014 from 2-4 & 6-8:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home.
Ralph was born April 27, 1944 in Coldwater, MI to Richard & Grace (Adams) Clifford. He graduated from Coldwater High School in 1962 and married Judy K. Connell in 1986, she preceded him in death on February 6, 2001.
Mr. Clifford worked at the Coldwater State Home for 25 years until his retirement. He loved the outdoors and farming. Throughout his entire life he owned and operated his own family farm. In later years he also drove truck for Nutritech Feed Service.
Ralph was a member of the Coldwater Eagles. He enjoyed going to singles dances and many of the different Eagles Clubs and playing golf.
Ralph is survived by his sons Blane Clifford of Bronson, Richard (Tasha) Clifford of Delanco, NJ, his daughters Annette (Dale) Vaughn of Jonesville, Belinda (Tim) Yanke of Wyoming, MI, stepson Mike (Amy) Abrey of Coldwater, his sisters Dora (Jack) Sabatis of Coldwater, Barbra Byrd, brother Steve (Lorraine) Clifford of Fremont, IN, his grandchildren Zach Clifford, Cody Clifford, Dalton Vaughn, Dillon (Jordan) Vaughn, Megan (Barry) Mercer, Zach Smurr and Ashlyn Abrey, great grandchildren Marissa Vaughn and Brenna Wolfe. In addition to his wife, he was also preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister.
