Obituary for Robert "Bob" David Combs

Robert D. “Bob” Combs, 49, of Coldwater, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at his home with his wife and daughters by his side.
A celebration of Bob’s life will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Dutcher-Kolcz Funeral Home in Bronson with Pastor Terry Siler from the First Congregational Church in Bronson officiating. The family will receive friends, prior to the service, beginning at 12 Noon at the funeral home. The family requests that all guests wear U of M attire or blue and maize.
Robert was born November 20, 1964 in LaGrange, IN to Diana L. (Streby) Combs. He married the love of his life Michelle R. Bassage on August 16, 1986.
Bob was a truck driver for National Freight for many years. He was a family man who enjoyed boating, fishing, shooting his gun, going to the casino and playing poker. Bob enjoyed spending time with his friends and family and was known by many for his great cooking skills and outgoing personality. Most dear to his heart were his seven granddaughters.
Bob is survived by his wife Michelle, his daughters Nichole (Anthony Farlin) Combs, Elizabeth (Rusty) Reed, Amy Combs all of Coldwater, his sisters and brothers Debbie Combs, Susan Roberts, Amanda Combs and Lori Combs, Mike Bassage, Mark (Tracy) Bassage, Dawn Bassage, Trina (John) Santi, Ryan Loomis, his grandchildren McKenzy, Kirsten, Madysen, Jaylynn, Gracie, Skylee and Aubrielle, his father-in-law Bob Bassage and his mother-in-law Midge & Joe Loomis and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Diana Combs and grandpa Maynard Streby.
