Melanie L. Miller, 67, of Quincy, passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Foote Hospital in Jackson.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 6:00 PM at the Bronson Church of Christ with Pastor Mike Roberts officiating. Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.
Melanie was born July 11, 1947 in Battle Creek, MI to Murl & Marian (Tungate) Myers. She married Gordon S. Miller on November 6, 1987 and together they had celebrated 27 years.
Mel had worked for many years at Acorn Products in Quincy and for a short time at Dana Corporation in Angola. She was very artistic and enjoyed crafts and painting. Mel enjoyed playing pool with the Branch County Ladies Pool League and loved spending time on her computer. She enjoyed her many Facebook friends and relatives and browsing the internet for "bargains".
Melanie is survived by her husband Gordon, son Murl (B.J.) Kinsey of Coldwater, sister Vivian (James) Shilling of Allen and many grand and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and son John Kinsey.
