Albert “Al” or “Junior” Harold Miller, Jr., 68, of Bronson, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2014 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Dutcher-Kolcz Funeral Home in Bronson. Interment will follow at Matteson Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 12:00 Noon at the funeral home.
Al was born August 11, 1945 in Coldwater to Albert H. and Opal Marie (Morris) Miller, Sr. After graduation from Coldwater High School in 1963, he started electrician classes at KCC. He worked at General Products in Angola for over 25 years. On May 5, 1978, Al married Venedra Harville at Lockwood Church in Coldwater.
Junior was a loving family man who was willing to help anyone. He was known for being quick witted, stubborn, but always dependable. Al enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and being outside. Earlier in life he enjoyed bowling. He will be missed by many.
Albert is survived by his wife of 36 years Venedra Miller of Bronson; his daughters Deanna (Brian) Shortridge of Coldwater, Trina Matchette of Coldwater, Christina Warren of Ft. Meyers, FL, and Brandy Roberts of Bronson; his sisters Rosemary Paul of Coldwater and Alice (Dick) Lee of Grayling; grand-children Sara Sattler, Kyle Sattler, Justin Delles, Hailey Delles, Shane Matchette, Morgan Matchette, Logan Roberts, and Jordan Roberts; 5 great grand-children; many nieces and nephews; and special friends Richard & Judy Hoard. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Harry Miller and his sister Virginia Lynch.
