Obituary for Steven D. Otis

Steven D. Otis, 32, of Harrison, Arkansas, formerly of Coldwater, died on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at his home due to medical complications.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor Shayne Looper of Lockwood Community Church officiating. Interment will follow at Lockwood Cemetery in Ovid Township. Visitation will be held just prior to the service from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 P.M., also at the funeral home in Coldwater on Tuesday.
Steven was born April 2, 1979 in Coldwater to Rex and Kathryn (Goodrich) Otis and graduated from Bronson High School in 1998.
Steven lived in Coldwater nearly all of his life and had worked at Alchem Aluminum in Coldwater, Paul Green’s dairy farm and for the past three years he worked for Tyson Chicken in Green Forest, AK. He enjoyed muddin’ in his Ford 4X4 truck and riding old school BMX bikes. He was an excellent mechanic and body man. His children were his life and he will be remembered for being a great father to his children. Steven will be missed by his family and all of those who knew him.
Steven is survived by his parents Rex and Kathryn Otis of Coldwater, his girlfriend Angela Clouse of Harrison, AK, his sons Adrian Scott Otis and Joshua James Otis, his daughter Makinzee May Otis, his brother Roger (Jennifer) Otis of Coldwater, his brothers Herbert (Nancy) Ferrier and Christopher P. Otis both of Indiana, Rex (Karla) Otis, Jr. of Bronson, his sister Teresa (Phil) Broad of Texas, 14 nieces and nephews and 4 great nieces.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Darious (Myrtle) Otis and Duane (Ellen) Goodrich.
