William A. Shaw, 67, of Coldwater, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021 at his home. The funeral service will be held Friday, May 21, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson with Pastor Terry Siler from the First Congregational Church officiating. Visitation will be held, prior to the service, beginning at 12:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Burr Oak Township Cemetery.
William was born April 27, 1954 in Coldwater, MI to James & Eleanor (Grove) Shaw. He served in the US Navy and had earned his Associates Degree in electronics.
Bill worked at various local companies over the years, most recently at Media Plus in Bronson as a computer technician. He loved the world of electronics and computers and was very active with the Branch Co. Amateur Radio Club. Bill was also very artistic and enjoyed painting and photography.
Bill is survived by his son Joe (Kayla) Shaw of Bronson, his mother Eleanor Shaw of Bronson, his brother and sisters Kenneth (Mary) Shaw of Ossian, IN, Louise (Craig) Dunworth of Coldwater, Elaine (Ken) Risedorph of Jonesville, Elizabeth Worley of Bronson; his granddaughter Eleanor Shaw and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father James.
