William T. Hansett, Jr., 60, of Sherwood, passed away Monday, September 30, 2019 in Coldwater. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
William was born June 7, 1959 in Jackson, MI to William & Maxine (Yeomans) Hansett, Sr. He married Heather VanEvey on December 9, 2005 in Coldwater.
Bill was a truck driver owner/operator for almost 40 years and was currently leased on to Load-n-Go Trucking. He belonged to the OOIDA Truck Driver’s Association. Bill was an avid outdoorsman and who loved hunting, fishing and camping. He was a hardworking man, known for his honesty, with a soft spot for animals.
Bill is survived by his wife Heather, his children Allison (Dalton) Kirksey of California, Autumn (Daren) Rathbun of Coldwater, Breanna Hansett of Ludington, Kyle Hansett of Sherwood, 4 sisters, 4 grandchildren and his beloved pets Doc, Brutus and Taz.
