Wesley Lee Morick, age 94, went home to his Father in heaven on Tuesday, July 7, 2020.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 9th at the Coldwater Church of the Nazarene at 5:00PM. Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.

Wesley was born January 12, 1926 to William and Margaret (McCuloch) Morick in Rockford, Illinois. He married Kathy Graves on September 12, 1975 in Coldwater.

Wesley served in the Army Air Force as both a Sergeant and Air Crew member during WWII. He was the proud owner and operator of Superior Concrete and Foundations which made him a well-known face around Branch County. Upon retirement from his business, he worked as a Custodian for the Coldwater Community School System. As a member of the Coldwater Church of the Nazarene, Wes participated in various building projects and grew in his faith and love of Christ. In the words of our dear Wes, and as his friends and family will surely remember often hearing, “All I can say is… Nighty night!”

Wes leaves behind his loving wife of 44 years, Kathy, his three sons, Michael Morick of Elgin, Illinois, Scott Morick of Coldwater, Greg (Amanda) Morick of Coldwater as well as his sister, Mildred Harbors of Freeport, Illinois. Grandchildren of Wes include Brett, Taylor (Dalton), Kelsey, Ashleigh, Cody, and Mallory. His great-grandchildren include Christine, Paxton and Colton Wesley as well as one great-great grand-daughter, Juniper. Preceded in death along with his parents were his eldest son, Wesley Jr. and two brothers, Bill and Gene.

Memorials may be directed to the Coldwater Church of the Nazarene.

So sorry to hear of Wes passing. He was a great man. My Dad Pete Cangialosi and Wes worked together at job sites from time to time. I remember Wes being a gentle man and was proud of his family. May the peace and comfort of God surround you Kathy, Michael, Scott and Greg. The family of the late Peter and Donna Cangialosi. Joe and Diana Nick and Leisa
