In respect to her wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time. The family is being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater. She was born March 11, 1927 to Carl and Blanche (McKee) Lewis in Coldwater, MI. On January 12, 1947 Betty married Donald Walker in Coldwater and he preceded her in death on November 22, 2005. She had been employed at Reynolds Springs and Federal Mogul until her and Don began to build their family where Betty was second to none at turning a house into a warm and loving home. Betty was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star as well as the Angola, Moose Club. She held a passion for gardening and yard work and always made time for her many friends that she cherished dearly. Betty met Donald roller-skating, a shared love of theirs that evolved into a love for dancing that they did as often and where often as they could. She will be dearly missed as a devoted mother, loving grandmother, and dear friend to many. Betty leaves behind her children Vicki (Ron) LaBelle, Brian (Tammy) Walker both of Coldwater; her sister-in-law Joyce Pearce of Coldwater; her grandchildren Nicole Poradzisz, Brandon (Lisa) LaBelle, Adrienne (Lance) Wilkinson; great grandchildren Evan and Gia Poradzisz and her many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Donald, she was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Margaret (Joe) Clifford and Carl “Bud” (Freida) Lews Jr. www.dutcherfh.com
