Obituary for Virginia V. Herman

Virginia V. Herman, 94, of Coldwater, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Grand Vista. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at 2:00 PM at St. Mary of Assumption Church in Bronson. The Rosary will be recited at 1:30 PM, prior to the mass, at St. Mary’s. Private interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.
Virginia was born December 8, 1925 in Bronson, MI to Vitales & Marie (Kibiloski) Losinski. She married Phillip F. Herman on August 11, 1951 in Bronson. He preceded her in death on December 17, 2015.
Mrs. Herman was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker and had also worked at Bronson Reel. She was a member of St. Charles Church and enjoyed sewing, cooking and gardening.
Virginia is survived by her children Daniel (Holly) Uecker-Herman of Grand Rapids, Marie (Kent) Hazelett of Battle Creek, Marvin (Vern) Herman of Union City, Dennis Herman of Coldwater, her sister Dorothy Smoker of Bronson, her grandchildren Caleb (Joordn) Uecker-Herman, Caitlin (Chelsea) Beckman, Carson Uecker-Herman, Amanda (Dave) Kane, Ashley (Adam) Beam, Pat Herman, Ashlee Mefford; her great grandchildren Quinn, Natalie, Andrew, Oliver and Sawyer. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters Bernard Losinski, Raymond Losinski, Edna Mae Dale, Vitales Losinski, Jr. and her daughter-in-law Susan Herman.
