Obituary for Virginia F. "Jenny" Barone

Virginia F. “Jenny” Barone, 77, of Bronson, passed away Friday, May 4, 2018 at Select Specialty Hospital of Battle Creek.
The funeral service will be Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 4:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Rev. Fr. Paul Redmond from St. Mary’s of Assumption Church officiating. Visitation will be held, prior to the service on Wednesday, beginning at 2:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater. Interment of ashes will be at a later date at East Gilead Cemetery.
Virginia was born November 25, 1940 in Fowlerville, KY to Arvid L. & Elizabeth (Harvey) Lewis. She married Robert M. Barone on July 30, 1976 in Bronson.
Mrs. Barone was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker. She was also a beautician for over 50 years. She had formerly worked at “Elite Hairdressers” in Temperance before opening “Jenny’s Country Curl” in her home.
Jenny attended St. Mary’s Church in Bronson and enjoyed playing golf and cooking. She was a skilled seamstress and enjoyed painting. Whatever she did, it was to perfection. Jenny, most of all, enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Jenny is survived by her husband Bob, her children Liz Garcia of Corpus Christi, TX, Scott (Michelle) Morrill of Three Rivers, Cathy Schewe of Coldwater, Russell Ashley of Three Rivers, her step children Carolyn (Tony) Roussey of Byron Center, Paul (Teena) Barone of Bronson, Julie Belote of Colorado, her sisters Pearl (Lowell) Newton of Nicholasville, KY, Janice See of Coldwater, grandchildren Stacey, Raven, Robin, Mandy, Matt, Chris, Carley, Jerry, Ashley, Brendan, Justin, Paul, Aaron, Trent, Michael, Travis, Nathan, Mandy, Kendra and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 6 brothers and sisters.
Memories may be directed to St. Mary's Church.
