Obituary for Vincent Rowe
Vincent B. Rowe, 61, of Coldwater, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at his home. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 4, 2022 at 4:00PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor Shayne Looper from Lockwood Community officiating. Interment of ashes will take place at Ft. Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI. The family will receive friends, prior to the service, on Friday, beginning at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
Vincent was born September 19, 1960 in Highland Park, MI to Vernor & Sylvia (Samide) Rowe. He honorably served 8 years in the US Navy from 1981 – 1989.
Mr. Rowe drove truck for Yellow Roadway Corporation from 1989-2016, when ill health forced him to retire. He enjoyed PlayStation gaming, adult coloring books, hockey and was an avid gun & car enthusiast. Vince loved his dog and cat Ammo and Kwyn, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his granddaughters.
Vince is survived by his wife Kathleen, his stepson Tom Stringer of Dearborn Heights; his daughters Bethany (Michael) Dalessandro of Dearborn, Kacey Stringer of Coldwater; his mother Sylvia Newman of Coldwater; siblings Steven (Lori) Rowe of Union City, Martin (Dawn) Rowe of Coldwater. His granddaughters Abbigale, Lillie Jayne, Annabelle, Ava Rae, Giana and Gabriella; his aunt and uncle Carol & Chub Lafleur of Uxbridge, MA and cousins Scott, Jack, Joey and Richard Rowe. He was preceded in death by his father, step father Ron Newman and his grandmother Sophie Samide.
