Obituary for Victor Gordon Scully

Victor Gordon Scully (Gordon) passed away February 9th, 2022 at Sturgis Hospital. He was born July 4th, 1940 in Dubois, PA, son of Evelyn and Victor Scully, now deceased
Gordon graduated from Melvindale High School in 1958. He also served in the United States Army Reserves. He graduated from Alma College in 1963. He taught History and Economics at Bronson High School from 1964 to 1992. He also taught Drivers Ed through his years as a teacher.
He was an avid outdoorsman with a love for hunting and fishing. He was an organic gardener and a competitive card player. Gordon loved to travel, stay current on world affairs and study the stock market. He volunteered at the Bronson Community Food Pantry and the Habitat for Humanity Store. He regularly attended Bible study and enjoyed discussing scripture.
His marriage to Rocki Ann McInroy produced three wonderful children. Tom Scully (Michelle), Melinda Scully (Charles Clayton) and Bethany Chapman (Robert), and four much loved grandchildren, Marlena, Alicia, Ross and Elsie. He was a great cheerleader for his grandchildren’s hobbies and athletics. He is survived by his sister Cheryl Cross, Niece Amanda Cross and Nephew Derek Cross. Family was a strong belief and he loved gathering everyone for beach and Disney vacations.
He treasured his time with Lolita Kline and they were married for almost 20 years. Gordon and Lolita attended Lockwood Community Church. A celebration of life service will be announced at a later date. It is his desire to be cremated and buried in Brockway, Pennsylvania.
