Obituary for Vickie L. Ritchey
Vickie Lynn Ritchey, 69, of Coldwater passed away Saturday, April 19, 2020 at Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo. Services will be held with immediate family at a later date. Cremation services have been provided by Dutcher Funeral Home.
Vickie was born on March 18, 1951 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Herman Ritchey and Martha (Clark) Ritchey. After graduating high school, she went on to be a loving mother to her two daughters. She later found passion in caring for residents, while working as a Nurse’s Aide for over 30 years at Maple Lawn, where she retired.
In her younger years she enjoyed attending church, doing crossword puzzles, and dancing. She also loved her soap operas, game shows, and get togethers with the girls. Most importantly Vickie was a very strong woman who adored her family, and would do anything for them. She will be remembered and missed for the great comfort she brought to all her friends and family.
Vickie is survived by her two daughters, Roxanna (Charles) Inman, Rosalena (Guy Chester) Fullington and step daughter, Brenda Webster (Rob) and her grandchildren Desiree (Brett Wing) Schort, Tasha (Trent) Ehinger, Matthew Fullington, Ryan Hoag, and Austin Fullington as well as her great grandson Sullivan Wing. She also leaves behind a sister, Nona Phelps. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Connie McNamara.
